Store Account Management . . .

• Unless you have used this Shopping Cart before, you will not yet have a store account.  
• You do not need to login to use the Shopping Cart for the first time ... an account will be created when you purchase or renew your license.

Using the Shopping Cart . . .

• The online Shopping Cart is fully automated.
• We do not store Credit Card information.  All Credit Card transactions are processed by the ANZ Bank's secure eGate system.
• Check your order carefully before you click the Submit button --- manual adjustment of incorrectly placed orders incurs a $5.00 administration fee.

ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus . . .

• ESET Smart Security includes ESET NOD32 Antivirus.  You do not need to purchase both products.

License Renewal . . .

• Do not attempt to renew old or long-expired licenses.  Renewals are timed from expiry of the license you are renewing --- i.e., if you renew a license that expired 10 months ago for 1 Year then the renewal will be valid for only 2 months.

License Types . . .

Single PC License :
• Valid for one computer only.
• Cannot be installed on any Server Operating System.
  
  
Standard Edition License :
• Can be purchased for up to 10 computers.
• Valid for use on peer-to-peer (Workstations-only) networks.
• Cannot be installed on any Server Operating System.
  
  
Business Edition License :
• Available for 5+ computers.
• Valid for use on Server-based networks.
  
• Note that ESET Smart Security contains a firewall which inspects all network traffic on a computer.  If installed on a computer which performs many network transactions (database or file activities, etc) these applications may slow down unless excluded in the firewall.  We recommend installing ESET NOD32 Antivirus on your Server(s) and ESET Smart Security on your Workstations and Laptops.
  
  Workstations:Servers ratio = 10:1
       e.g: License for up to 10 computers includes use on 1 Server,
               License for up to 20 computers includes use on up to 2 Servers,
               License for up to 70 computers includes use on up to 7 Servers, etc.
               (Licenses can be upgraded to include additional Servers.)
  
  
Server Only License :
• Can be installed only on a Server.
  

Important . . .

            You are 100% responsible for the security of your licensed Username and Password!
            There is no acceptable excuse for overuse or misuse of your license!
            Overused or misused licenses will be terminated without warning!

            Freemail/webmail accounts are notoriously insecure.  To minimize the possibility of criminal misuse             of your license we recommend that you have it delivered to an email account provided by your Internet             Service Provider, print out the license, then delete the email.

General . . .

• Only those computers on which the program is installed are protected.
  
• The product and all its updates and modifications will be delivered via Internet download.
  (An optional backup disk is available.)
  
• License includes email support, phone support and remote connection where neccessary, and 24/7 access to the official ESET support forum.

Sales Policy . . .

• You can evaluate fully functional free trial versions for 30 days.
  
• It is understood that you have already tested each product before purchase and that you are satisfied that the software is working properly on your system and is suitable for your requirements.
  
• ESET will do its best to fix any bugs and defects in the software in a timely manner, but we cannot give refunds once licenses have been issued.
